Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator
Thank you for joining me today. I am bringing you this lovely new suite, Garden Impressions. I almost didn't order this, was just going to get the die set as I wanted the butterfly but in the end I changed my mind and got the bundle. Once I saw it in the flesh I just couldn't wait to get it out of the box and start creating with it.
Measurements and Materials
- Very Vanilla A4 Card Stock - cut in half scored in half for card base
- The remaining half was cut in half again
- One rectangle is used for the inside of the card front
- One rectangle was trimmed for the sentiment. I cut 1/4" off the length and width
- Smoky Slate Classic Stampin' Pad - used for the butterfly body
- Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad - used for the sentiments and butterflies
- Abstract Impressions Photopolymer Bundle - I used the corner die on the front of the card. The rectangle was stuck to the inside of the card and the die cut was glued back in place
- Blackberry Bliss A4 Cardstock - scrap used to die cut out the flower
I love the simple elegance of this card. The video tutorial is on my YouTube Channel - just click below to watch it.

Thank you Gez for making your first project one using the Abstract Impressions stamp set because this is the stamp set that I really want and have done from opening the catalogue. How great that those little butterflies can be formed as well, cool! Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O) PS Thank you so, so much for my "Happy Mail" you are a very generous lady. :O)
ReplyDeleteThis set didn't jump out at me but I wanted the butterfly die so got it anyway after talking to a friend. So glad I did, really never knew about the butterflies until I started stamping with it. Love it now.
DeleteI am so glad you received my 'Happy Mail', you take care :-)
