Colour Challenge #stampinforall

Good morning!

This week I did my first colour challenge over at #stampinforall, a Facebook group run by my fellow Pootler Amanda AKA Srimpingmommy. The colours were Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist. Here is my card:

To make this card I cut the layers as below - these are my standard way of cutting layers and they give 1/8th border all round.

I used some Berry Burst cardstock as my base - A4 cut in half and scored in half, this makes a C6 card 5 7/8th x 4 1/8th
I cut a mat in Whisper White cardstock just 1/4" smaller on each side - 5 5/8th x 3 7/8th
I cut 2 of these mats as I used one on the inside of the card as well.

I also used a 3x3 square of Bermuda Bay cardstock and some Whisper White cut with the largest Stitched Square Framelit die.

I used the stamps set Picture Perfect Birthday from the new Spring Summer Catalogue.

I really like how thee colours work together to give a fun bright birthday card. As you can see below I also stamped the inside of the card. I love how the 2 step stamp give the effect of a lovely big bow on a present which I carried through to the inside of the card.

I am really excited to be showcasing my first project as a Design Team member for the #stampinforall Facebook group next week. So why not check it out.

A group full of inspiration

Looking forward to seeing you again,
