Hi everyone, thank you for joining me on he first Simple Sunday - this is a series I am doing bringing you simple projects that are easy to do whether you are a beginner or just need something quick. I hope you enjoy this new series :-)
Love the new acetate boxes. They are designed to hold 5 cards but when I tried them they held 4 that all had dimensionals on them and 6 that were more or less flat. The fun with this project was in the decoration. I chose ordinary brown paper packaging and some velum and some twine. I really like how it turned out and I just added a die cut butterfly that matched one of the cards. I also discovered that the box would hold 3 full size chocolate bars and when tissue was scrunched in the bottom and top it looks really nice. So you could put other things into this gift packaging. I think it is a quick and effective gift box if you are in a hurry or do not have a score board.
To cover the box I cut an A4 sheet of brown paper at 5 1/2 inches.
The velum was cut at 3 1/2 inches
I wrapped some tine around 3 times and tied a knot
Then I adhered a die cut butterfly on top of this.
Thank you for dropping by, see you again soon
