I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas Card

Hi and welcome to another Festive Fursday!

Today I am showing the humorous Christmas Card I designed using the Half Full set, I love this joke and have seen it as a meme on Facebook before.  I know loads of people who this card is going to be appropriate for.

For tutorial on my YouTube channel press the picture above.

I am currently in Christmas card bulk making mode.  I have loaded the stamps up on my stamping platform (can't wait for my Stamaratus as it does so much more) and have made loads so far, it really is a time saver and perfect positioning.

I layered the card with a double mat using my usual layers with an 1/8 inch all the way around the layers.

Basic black - Half A4 folded in half (5 7/8 x 4 1/8 card size)
Rich Razzleberry - 5 5/8 x 3 7/8
Whisper White x 2 - 5 3/8 x 3 5/8

I used my Richrazzle Berry Blenders to colour the wine glasses and watercolour pencils to colour the wine bottle (I have ordered the Old Olive and Daffodil Delight now so can colour all in the blends now) The blends will give a much deeper green colour on the bottle.  I covered the bottle and glass in glue from the Fine Tip Glue Pen to give it a glassy effect. To finish off I used 3 Black Rhinestones. I also stamped the inside with a Christmas greeting and some holly. Love this card.

Have a lovely day

DIY Business Cards

Morning everyone,

Yesterday I was busy making business cards, I could have ordered them from a company that prints them for you but as a paper crafter I wanted to make my own. Not necessarily the most cost effective way in terms of time but I am happy with the result and I got to binge watch Stranger Things on Netflix while doing it. My kind of multi tasking lol!

The first lot of cards I made were 3 1/4 x 2 1/8 - the standard size of a credit card.  However I realised that this was not the most economical use of my lovely cardstock. So as I was using the 12x12 speciality paper from our DSP packs I decided to change the card size to 3x2, that way I can get 24 from one sheet.

I printed my details out onto an A4 sheet, I set up my document in word so that I had 3 across and 6 down, so 18 in total. I used word to set this up, click mailings, then labels and chose customise and I sat as follows:-
As I am in the UK this is set for A4 paper if you are in US you can adjust to fit your paper size.

Then you put your details in the next screen: -

Once done press ok and your A4 sheet will be populated with your details.

The I played with the details until I liked the way it looked, I changed the first row and then copy and pasted into the rest of the document.

I entered the words and altered size of font and style of font until I was happy, this is all down to personal preference.

As the back of our speciality paper is white I chose to print this on white and matted onto black so it stood out.  Once the cards were cut out they measure 2 3/4 x 1 3/4. The Black Mat is 1/8th of an inch taller and wider so there is a small margin.

I decorated the front with ovals using 2 retired punched but you can do it in anyway you like.  I printed my Business name on Very Vanilla to match the speciality paper and the scalloped oval was punched from gold.  I really like the look but could easily do this in different paper and get a completely different effect.  You could also hand stamp this as well which I have done in the past.

I hope you found that useful, until tomorrow!

Stampin Up Make & Takes from On Stage 2017

Hi and thank you for joining me today on "Treat Tuesday'. This is a real treat as I am showing you a sneak peak of the new catalogue. Here are the make and takes I got from On Stage 2017.

Click on Picture above to watch the tutorial on my YouTube Channel - Nigezza Creates :-)

I have since bought 2 of the sets with my pre-order. One of the perks f being a Stamping Up Demonstrator is that we get to buy things early. I just love the new catalogue and the choices in the up and coming Sale-A-Bration are the best I have ever seen. (I also have some of these!)

If you want to get your hands on these products early then you can, just sign up today and you will be able to order from the new catalogue in December and start earning free products from Sale-A-Bration,  because as a demonstrator we have 4 months of Sale-A-Bration in stead of the normal 3. How fab is that??!! It would be amazing to have you on my team :-)

My Make and Takes

The Make and Takes gave me the opportunity to decide what I liked and what I didn't like. There were also displays of projects that the design team had done with all the product suites in the new catalogue so lots of inspiration and a wish list was made! Or was it more of a "I've got to have that!" "I NEED it!" lol

I hope you like my projects today and are excited for the new catalogue. See you again soon

Cheers

Stampin Up Half Full Birthday Card

Hi and welcome to Simple Sunday. Todays project is simple but looks much more complicated so you can wow your friends. I made this card using the Half Full stamp set, at first glance this looks like a Christmas set but as you can see it can quite easily do for Birthday and actually many other occasions.

Click on the photo above for the Tutorial on my YouTube Channel :-)

The basic card is the standard card with a standard mat.

Half of A4 scored in half - 5 7/8 x 4 1/8
Mat 5 5/8 x 3 7/8 - I cut 2 of these and used for for the inside of the card

For this card I have used Rich Razzleberry for the card base (because it looks like red wine) and Whisper White for the mats.

I stamped the  tag on a a scrap of Whisper White and cut the straight edges, then I inserted it into our Tag Topper Punch because the top of the tag matches this punch perfectly - you can of course fussy cut it.  I then cut another tag using Rich Razzleberry to mat it onto. I coloured some Whisper White Ribbon with the Rich Razzleberry Blends so it coordinates perfectly with the card. I coloured the grapes with the blends and the stamped images of the wine glasses.

The inside of the card was stamped with more wine glasses and a sentiment.

Add caption

It's a simple card because the stamps do all the work for you. I hope you like it, until next time,

Cheers

Stampin Up Stylish Stems on Clearance Rack

Hi everyone and welcome new subscribers who have joined me recently, thank you so much I really appreciate it.

Click on the picture above to watch the tutorial :-)

Today I am sharing a video I published earlier in the year from the Occasions Catalogue, these Thinlit dies are just awesome and are still available on the clearance rack for £16.80 so an absolute bargain. SO if you were shopping in the online extravaganza it may be worth taking a look at the clearance rack and adding a few things from there into your basket.

I was really disappointed when these dies retired in June as they were my favourite from that catalogue and used them loads to create beautiful cards like the ones featured in this video. The dies can by used with out the stamp set as demonstrated, there is also paper and ribbon and wash tape that is always good to stock up on. Black Friday is coming but the clearance rack is always here! To find the clearance rack just click on the link to my shop and chose Clearance Rack from the menu on the left of the screen.

Do you want to build a snowman? Stampin Up Style!

I am so pleased with how the project turned out, its even better than it was in my head! lol

It would look good as a Christmas decoration, table centre piece or as a Childs gift wrap (or an adult who love Christmas)

It is made up of 3 lidded boxes in 3 different sizes.

The bottom box is 4 x 4 x 3
For this box I used Whisper White Cardstock  - 10 x 10 - score @ 3 on all 4 sides
For the lid I used Whisper White Cardstock - 6 9/16 x 6 9/16 - score @ 1 1/4 on all 4 sides

The middle box is 3 x 3 x 2 1/2
For this box I used Whisper White Cardstock  - 8 x 8 - score @ 2 1/2 on all 4 sides
For the lid I used Whisper White Cardstock - 5 1/16 x 5 1/16 - score @ 1 on all 4 sides

The top box is 2 x 2 x 2
For this box I used Whisper White Cardstock  - 6 x 6 - score @ 2 on all 4 sides
For the lid I used Basic Black Cardstock - 3 9/16 x 3 9/16 - score @ 3/4 on all 4 sides

The top of the Hat is 1 x 1 x 1
For this I used Basic Black Cardstock - 41/2 x 3 - score on the long side @ 1, 2, 3 & 4 - score on the short side @ 1, 2 & 3

The card stock was stamped all over with snow flakes in Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder - I used the 2 snowflakes in Colourful Season.

I used the branch Thinlit from the coordinating die set Seasonal Layers Thinlits for the arms of the snowman and cut them out with Soft Sued. I also cut the snowflakes and stuck them on the snowmans hat.

For the scarf I used the Striped Wired Ribbon, Black Rhinestones for the smile, an orange enamel dot for the nose and googly eyes finishes the cute face off. I added 3 black buttons cut with the 1/2 inc circle punch and added Wink of Stella to give them a frosty look.

To hold the 3 boxes together I tied a length of Black Shimmer Ribbon.

I love my Frosty the snowman, I hope you do too.

I intend to do this as a class so if you live local to me and would be interested let me know :-)

Cheers

My Favourite Stamp Set

Morning!

Today I thought I would share one of my favourite stamp sets.

Butterfly Basics is so versatile and the Happy Birthday font is one of my favourites and a go to sentiment for me. I love that it has so many elements that allow you to do interesting backgrounds and when you add a die cut butterfly it looks stunning.

I have used all the elements together and I have used them separately and the addition of some coordinating thinlit dies is just the icing on the cake. There are 2 sets of butterfly dies, have a die that matches the large butterfly stamp and also larger ones that compliment the stamp set. The small butterfly also coordinates with our retired small butterfly punch that you may have - I do as I cannot sell it!

Some of my favourite cards have been made with this stamp set.

Until next time,

OnStage Freebies & Sneek Peek at New Catalogue

As a Stamping Up Demonstrator I get to see the new catalogue months before it is launched and I also get a chance to order the new products early as well. To launch a new catalogue Stamping Up hold events called OnStage. I recently went on the November event and as an attendee I get to order even earlier!

I have filmed a sneak peek of all the products I got free at OnStage as well as the items I was able to order in the Preorder window.

The new Spring Summer catalogue and of course Sale-A-Bration will start in January for the general public but for Demonstrators it starts on December 1st. We therefore have 4 months of Sale-A-Bration. In case you do not know what this is its basically a sale but unlike ordinary January sales this runs from January until March. There is a special Sale-A-Bration catalogue that is full of items you can get for free, yes I said FREE!!! To receive a free product you must place an oder of £45 (not including P&P) and then you chose a free item from this catalogue. If you spend £90 you get 2 choices and so on.

If you would like to start taking advantage of this amazing offer early then you could join my team. By signing up as a demonstrator you get all the perks I do, amazing 20% discount that rises to 25% on your first promotion. There is no obligation to sell or do videos like me you can just be a 'hobby demo' and enjoy the discount for yourself. You will also have the chance to attend the next OnSTage event in April which launches the next Annual Catalogue.

It costs just £99 to join and you get to chose what ever you want from the current catalogues up to the value of £130, this also includes the items in the current OnLine Extravaganza so you could get even more value with your starter Kit. As well as this you get a business pack that includes catalogues to give to friends and family so they can see the amazing products and become your potential customers.

After 7 days of receiving your starter kit you can then place another order which should be just in time to shop from the new Spring Summer catalogue a whole month early and start getting those amazing FREE Sale-A-Bration items.

To continue to be a demonstrator all you need t do it hit the quarterly minimum sales by the end of the next quarter which is March 2018. The minimum works out after your discount to be roughly £210, if you are like me you would spend that on craft products in 4 months easy! If you do not have sales of this much then you just stop being a demonstrator. Thats it, no pressure, no need to return any  of your free items they remain yours. So there is really nothing to stop you.

If you have any questions about this do not hesitate to ask, I would really love to welcome you to my team.

See you again soon

Simple Sunday: Decorated Acetate Box by Stampin Up

Hi everyone, thank you for joining me on he first Simple Sunday - this is a series I am doing bringing you simple projects that are easy to do whether you are a beginner or just need something quick. I hope you enjoy this new series :-)

Love the new acetate boxes.  They are designed to hold 5 cards but when I tried them they held 4 that all had dimensionals on them and 6 that were more or less flat. The fun with this project was in the decoration.   I chose ordinary brown paper packaging and some velum and some twine.  I really like how it turned out and I just added a die cut butterfly that matched one of the cards. I also discovered that the box would hold 3 full size chocolate bars and when tissue was scrunched in the bottom and top it looks really nice.  So you could put other things into this gift packaging. I think it is a quick and effective gift box if you are in a hurry or do not have a score board.

To cover the box I cut an A4 sheet of brown paper at 5 1/2 inches.
The velum was cut at 3 1/2 inches
I wrapped some tine around 3 times and tied a knot
Then I adhered a die cut butterfly on top of this.

Thank you for dropping by, see you again soon

Pootles Birthday Bloghop

I am delighted to take part in the November Birthday Bloghop as it is MY birthday in November! It is also my youngest sons birthday too and a number of other family and friends.

I decided to showcase the card I made for my son.  He is very musical and plays quite a number of instruments so I knew I was going to use the music background stamp, I also have been doing the eclipses method a lot recently and this is what I came up with after playing around for a while.

I love how the music looks like it has come out from the sheet and wrapped around the numbers. I used the large Number Dies and the Happy Birthday die for the sentiment. I hope you like it.

To make the card I first stamped the image onto some Whisper White card stock in Black ink and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. Then I stamped Black card stock with the same image using the White ink pad. and again embossed but this time with White embossing powder.  I matched the 2 stamped images up and cut the number out of the cards at the same time so the number could match perfectly. The black numbers were popped up on dimensionals and stuck over the same where the second set of numbers were cut out. The sentiment was die cut and snipped in half and stuck down with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. I also stamped a 'TH" and stuck this to the zero.

I think you will agree that this is a very clever looking card, I hope my son likes it! Until next time, thanks for joining me,

Stampin Up Half Full Christmas Card

Hi and thank you for joining me on the first Festive Fursday! Last weekend I attended On Stage and if that wasn't enough the next day I was at a team event. 2 days full of excitement, friendship, laughs and crafting. At On Stage we all received some free stamp sets and at the team event we also received a free stampset from our generous leader Sam from Pootles. The set was Half Full.  I had been looking at this set for ages in the catalogue but had resisted.

Sam gave us a picture sheet with ideas of cards she had made using this set.  She also supplied us with the resources needed to make the cards. The card is a CASE of hers.

I used a standard card base in Basic Black, folded and scored in half. I cur a mat in Rich Razzleberry just 1/4" shorter and thiner. This was stamped with the large wine glass all over and adhered to the base. I cut some Basic Black 4x3 and a mat in Whisper White 1/4" shorter and thiner. I stamped the wine bottle, large glass and the Merry Christmas sentiment.

I used the Blends in Rich Razzleberry to colour the bottle and the wine in the glass. I used water colour pencils to colour the label and the cuff. Then I used the Fine Tip Glue to cover the wine glass and wine bottle so that they had a 3d shine to them. The stamped topper was adhered to the Basic Back rectangle and this was popped up on dimensionals and stuck to front of card.

I stamped Merry Christmas and some holly on the Whisper White mat for the inside of the card. I used my Stamping Marker to colour the berry Real Red and the holly in Garden Green.

I hope you like this card. Until next time!

OnStage 2017 & Pootlers Swaps

I had an amazing weekend attending Stamping Up OnStage 2017 and the Pootler Team day.  For these events I made my swaps which I shared with you on Sunday and today I am sharing what I got in return.

As demonstrators we always swap at events, it is not compulsory but loads take part and it really is such fun and it is designed to give inspiration. I love taking part and I love to get new ideas from other Demos.

It was also my birthday weekend so one of my lovely Pootler friends made me a lovely birthday gift and the lovely Caroline from Crafty Caroline Creates who is my team leader gave all her team an amazing gift.  I now have a lovely personalised Stamping Up Apron to wear at my classes, I love this sooooo much <3

Present from Caroline

Birthday present from Pat James

I made 73 swaps (I just kept cutting paps and lost count! I knew I needed about 50 for the Pootler team day and so I took the 20+ to OnStage. It was my first time at On Stage and I was not quite sure how the swiping was going to work and whether I would be shy and embarrassed to do it. I needn't have worried as Stamping Up really is like one big family, everyone was happy to swap, people were walking around with various different boxes, bags, baskets etc, one with swaps to give out and one with swaps they received. I loved it and I loved looking at them afterwards. They were so full of inspiration I am now itching to get crafting.

Unfortunately since On Stage I have not been able to craft as my house is a building site as I am have double glazing installed. Its not a quick out and in as its a Victorian house and still had the original sash window casings so its a major job and this is now day 3! With a house this size and a day with no windows and another with windows unsealed I have been very very cold!

I did manage in the builders lunch break to film my swaps, it was very long so I have edited out a lot of my chit chat! I hope you enjoyed looking at them and that you are inspired like me to make some lovely little goodies. I am now off to eat my mountain of chocolate! Thanks for joining me and see you again soon :-)
