I was looking at the Tabs for Everything stamp set and notices the square of lines and wondered what that could be used for. After experimenting I found that by stamping once and then again over the top at a 90 degree angle it gave a nice effect that reminded me of gingham table clothes and summer picnics. So I decided to make something using this design and this is what I came up with. A small little treat box.
As well as the Tabs for everything stamp set I also use the Flower Garden set and matching punch.I made a box in each of the 2017-2019 in colours.
I used a piece of Whisper White card stock - 5 1/2 x 4 1/8
This means you can get four out of a sheet of A4 card stock or a standard sheet of cardstock in America, you just have a larger flap or you can cut it down.
Card scored on the long side at 1/2 - 1 3/4 - 3 - 4 1/4
Turn 90 degrees and score on short side at 1 1/4 - 2 1/2 - 3 3/4
Then I cut away the parts indicated in the video or in the photo, used a 1/2 inch circle punch to make small thumb hole, stamped the square sections and stuck the sides and bottom flaps,
I stamped 2 flowers on a scrap of whisper white and punched out - the petals were curled using a bone folder and glues together and onto the top of the box.
Then I stamped the greeting and circle border and punched out using 3/4 inch circle punch, and using a dimensional I stuck in the centre of the flower.
