Eastern Palace: the new suite by Stampin Up!

As a Stampin Up demonstrator I get to see and buy items from the new catalogue before the general public. This suite is available as a preorder for customers from May 1st 2017.  If you would like to order this then please visit my shop. Shop Here!

I used the new extra thick Very Vanilla Card stock as the card base, I am so excited that this is available as it makes excellent card bases. I cut the A4 card stock in half and scored in half to make a standard card blank. I cut a mat 1/4 of an inch shorter and thinner than the card base to create an 1/8th of an inch.

For the wedding card I used standard very vanilla card stock which I embossed with the falling petals embossing folder then I cut out the large medallion die from the Eastern Palace suite. This die stays in the card stock to create a stunning effect. I then used the second to largest stitched circle die to create a circle that I stamped my sentiment on.

For the anniversary card I used one of the new 2017-2019 in colours Fresh Fig.  I think this is going to be my new favourite! I stamped the sentiment from the Eastern Palace stamp set and the middle circle frame from the set, I added a heart from the Owl punch and stuck this to the mat that I embossed and die cut as for the wedding card.  The colour of this mat against the base really shows how stunning this medallion die is. I cut the sentiment out using s stitched circle die (a smaller one that fits the stamped circle and I popped it up with dimensional's.  the mat was stuck to base using tombow glue.

Card took about 1 minutes to make - simple - stunning - quick. What's not to like?!
