More Christmas cards!

This is the other card I made - not filmed the tutorial yet - used same technique with the peg stamped to make the Christmas tree. Also made the tag I the same way as other card and the snowflake and ribbon - the difference is the background paper - this was done with a page from the book - I screwed it up before distressing it. I used vintage photo first then peeled paint. I used a bigger kraft card for this one. It's very cheap - very easy - and I think very nice - will do the video soon - really must get my marking done now!

Christmas Cards!

I have started my Christmas cards - I decided to use pages from a book as the backing paper - very cheap! I used a book bought to me for Christmas last year as a joke - its a Pound Shop book so won't break the bank.  I am really pleased with the result - tutorial is posted on YouTube as well as here - I have made another card as well but not filmed that tutorial yet - may do it later today but have had a very busy weekend and do have some school work to do before the morning so actually need to get on with that.  Would rather be crafting :-(

Wedding card with drawer

Here is the wedding card I made for my sister-on-law.  We were giving money so like the idea of a drawer to put the money in.  I used a tutorial by Papercraft Button - which can be found on YouTube.  Really was very straight forward to make.  Looking forward to doing another one.

A day of card making

A very productive day :-)
Today I have been mostly making cards!

I am currently staying at my sisters so can not do anymore videos at the moment as all my albums are at home.  I do however have my Laptop so can upload some examples of cards I have made.

This is a quick and simple birthday card I made.

This was my sons 21st birthday card - I used my Cricut to make the numbers.

I love this card - I made it for my Great Nephews 1st birthday - I have made it again for other ages as well.

This was my Sons Graduation card - I used the X Cut scallop triangle nesting dies for the hood on the gown - think it works really well.  I found out the colour of the hood for the University to make sure it matched.

First video!

Today I uploaded my first video onto my YouTube channel 'Crafty Cow'. It shows the skinny mini I made for my sisters last birthday. We went to London for the weekend and did some sightseeing and saw a show. I made the album ready with journalling spots and photo mats ready to be completed while away. I did this without my sisters knowledge. I took photos all weekend and printed them in my hotel room on my little printer and stuck them on the photo mats that were already prepared. I asked everyone to write on the various journalling cards I had.

It was a very simple quick album to make, fun to do on the weekend and lovely to give at the end of it. There is space for her to add more photos if she wishes.
